Who We Are:

HealthCare Choices NY, Inc. ‘s PrEP2Love Program

Our primary objective is to empower our patients and community residents to achieve healthy and happy lifestyles through connection to stigma-free services with education and resources provided. We strive to strengthen the community’s health by providing open access to supportive services including testing, prevention, referral to care and education.

What Services PrEP2Love offers:

Confidential HIV screening

In-house or at home testing

Counseling and education

Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP)

  • Daily PrEP reduces the risk of getting HIV from sex by more than 90%. Amongst people who inject drugs, it reduces the risk by more than 70%.

Post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP)

  • If you think you were exposed to HIV, start taking emergency post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) immediately. PEP can stop a new HIV infection if you start taking it within 72 hours of exposure. To get started on PEP right away, call the 24/7 NYC PEP Hotline at 844-3-PEPNYC (844-373-7692).

Linkage to Primary Care and Specialty Services

Program Eligibility:

Individuals 18 and older regardless of a person’s health insurance status or ability to pay for services.

  • Under 18? Text “TESTNYC” to 877-877 where Free or low-cost tests are available for anyone 12 and older can get a confidential, anonymous test at NYC Sexual Health Clinics, regardless of immigration status. You do not need to have consent from a parent or guardian to get tested.

For the convenience of our clients, HealthCare Choices NY Inc. accepts Medicaid, Medicare and most insurances. We offer an affordable sliding fee scale for all those that qualify. If you are not sure, or want help selecting an insurance plan, we have an Entitlements counselor available to assist you. HCC also participates in the 340B pharmacy program, which offers reduced and no cost medications
